Last night while catching up on some TV time and baking muffins, I took a bit of time to complete a few circuit workouts I found on Pinterest. Ya'll, I'm a SERIOUS Pinterester. I could seriously spend a full day on that site if I was allowed to. Its just soooo...perfect!
My circuits were quick, and I only did them each once, because for some reason, I just can't do circuit workouts in...well, circuits. I get too bored, and have to move onto something else. So, that's exactly what I did!
I started with the All-Over Abs workout, found here. Now, my abs certainly aren't the greatest, however I don't always feel a serious burn when working on them. This circuit was relatively easy, and provided a great warmup.
After that came the Sexy Leg Workout. Now this one did definitely leave me feelin' something! All those squats....whew! I woke up sore, I'll tell ya that!
With those two completed, I finished off with an Oblique workout consisting of:
30 Jumping Jacks
50 Russian Twists
20 Side Leg Lifts (each leg)
10 Lying Leg Lifts (each leg)
5 Side Bends (each side)
40 Russian Twists
5 Side Plank Rotations (each side)
20 Hip Twists in Plank
10 Jumping Jacks
40 Russian Twists
50 Bicycles
5 Side Plank Dips (each side)
20 Oblique Crunches (each side)
10 Double-Legged Side Lift (each side)
5 Side Bends (each side)
60 Russian Twists
50 Jumping Jacks
That was a workout! I've always thought of Russian Twists as being an easy, no pain exercise. Well, not anymore! I promise ya'll, I woke up with tighter abs. And it. Was. Awesome :)
Alrighty, sister and I are headed out for a before-school gym session!
Question: What kind of exercise do you like to do to stay fit? Are you into circuit workouts? Which is your favorite?
My practices are difficult (we do weights and intense cardio) so I keep it simple (and easy!) when I workout on my own. As for Pinterest, I am ADDICTED no joke. It's actually pretty sad... you should add me! my username is dulcevie (obvi) :)
ReplyDeleteRowing sounds so cool! Y'alls workouts do sound intense!
